Art4Essex are a small group of talented artists based in Essex and their 'guests' - some of whom are from surrounding areas and have strong links to Essex. We also have a growing number of 'supporters' who help the group in various ways. Art4Essex is part of a growing network of regional art collectives that includes Art4Cheshire, Rogue Gene Collective, The Art Collective Scotland and Original Art Exhibitions.
Our main aim is to exhibit our art in the public arena and to obtain higher visibility for all self-representing artists. All our professional artists are passionate about their work and committed to helping each other whilst promoting art in the local community.
The group networks at exhibitions around the country. We also chat regularily on an online art forum with like minded artists, swapping hints and tips and discussing exhibition opportunities.
