Although my children are grown up , i feel there is a great need for some sort of facility for the older children ,ie  cage ,skate park or a multi purpose court where various sports could be played , i appreciate ressidence dont want lots of noise but living next to a park you must exspect some ,

Thank you Karen for your post. Residents comments are always very welcome.

The Parish Council will soon be starting on the second phase of improvements to the Park, which will see the installation of a path around the park , Outdoor Gyn equipment , new gates, more bins and some seating. Also the resurfacing of the car park area - in environmentally friendly Grass Crete and the resurfacing of the access road and new planting if possible.

Funding for this has been acheived via grants from Veolia North Thames Trust , Basildon Council, ECC Communities Initiative Fund and Parish Council Fund raising totalling £80,500.
