General Description

The Rooms consist of a main hall, kitchen, a small committee room and toilets which have disabled persons facilities. The premises are centrally heated.   The premises have WiFi and the password to connect to this facility is available through the Lettings Officer.

The main hall or the committee room can be booked separately.

Main Hall

The main hall  about 46ft long x 15ft wide is multifunctional and there are 60 chairs, 8 oblong tables and 5 small square tables available to support relevant activities.  There is a large serving hatch into the fitted kitchen.  These facilities are excellent for lectures, charity and craft events, exercise classes, art displays, wedding receptions, birthday parties etc.

Committee Room 

The Committee Room is about 15ft long x 10ft wide.  There is a boardroom style table and 12 well upholstered chairs. This room is excellent for small meetings, interviewing, private parties, reunions, baby showers and similar activities.

 Kitchen

The kitchen has a hob and oven, a water urn, crockery and cutlery and a microwave oven so that tea and hot snacks can be prepared.

Toilets

There are separate toilets for the disabled.   The ladies toilet has baby changing facilities.

Parking and Transport

There is parking for 2 or 3 vehicles at the rear of the premises and easy access to the rooms for the less mobile.

Bus stops are close by for transport to Chelmsford, Basildon and Billericay Rail station which is only a few minutes walk away.

There is ample parking in the Basildon Borough Car Parks off the High Street.

The Management Committee provides a service whereby the premises are opened up for hirers, the heating turned on when necessary and the premises locked up after the events.
