Next litter-pick Saturday 21st October 2017.

A parish-wide litter-pick to rid the roadsides of trash dropped by pedestrians or strewn by cyclists and motorists is held twice yearly, usually on a Saturday in March and then in October. Setting off from Blackmore Village and also from Mill Lane Playground in Hook End, the areas covered include Wyatts Green.  The extent of the area cleaned depends on the numbers of volunteers taking part.

A total of 61 large bin bags were filled with rubbish collected in the two organised 2016 litter-picks and sent to the tip. These sessions involve spending two hours or so each time clearing blighted local thoroughfares.  In between these organised events, please do all you can to keep tidy the area near your own home to continue the fight back against anti-social litterers.
