Neighbourhood Policing
Click on this link for an explanation of neighbourhood policing:
Pc Matt Noone is Boreham's nominated neighbourhood specialist officer. If any villagers have concerns or any information and wish to speak to him or a member of his team, they should call 07967 038212 or Melbourne Police Station on 01245 212566. To report an incident, please call 0300 3334444 (non emergency). In an emergency or for crimes in progress, dial 999.
Other useful telephone numbers are as follows:
Crime Reduction Officer (Trisha Staerck), 01245 212548
Shirl Waterman, Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator, 01245 467678
Our Neighbourhood Policing Team are very concerned that there are incidents occurring in Boreham which are going unreported and they stress that no matter how small the incident, it should be reported or discussed with them. They point out that the Police cannot act or improve areas with problems if they do not hear about them.
PCSO Jessica Farrell (our match-funded PCSO) can be regularly seen walking round Boreham. Jess is very approachable and will be happy to answer any queries or deal with any reports whilst on duty. Jess has also arranged the following beat surgeries where you can meet her and discuss any issues:
The Mobile Police Station will be stationed near the Co-op in Butterfield Road between 16.00 & 18.00 on the first Wednesday of every month
Members of the Boreham Neighbourhood Policing Team are also usually present at the start of the main Parish Council meetings (the dates of which can be found on the Council Meetings page) to give an update and answer any questions.
In addition, you can now access the Essex Police website and check your area for local policing updates. The following link will take you to the relevant site:
