We Need Your Help
Whilst Colchester BreatheEasy Group chooses to not require its 'members' to pay a membership fee, there is an on-going need to raise funds.
With 1 in 7 members of the population suffering from some form of lung disease, we wish to increase the amount of work we do to make more people aware of that fact and to do what we can to provide support to sufferers.
Whilst we can just about cover the cost of our everyday activities e.g. regular Group Meetings, there is very little left for the other work.
So donations are welcome, particularly from local corporate bodies who may wish to sponsor this web page or assist the group with its printing and advertising costs.
Of course consideration would be made to publicising that support.
Any offers of funding can first be made via the e-mail address breatheeasycolc@aol.com and donors will then be put in touch with the group treasurer.
Co-op Gives us £300 !
The East of England Co-operative Society has donated a sum of money to enable the group to have its own leaflet printed. The plan is that this will enable us to make a larger number of local people aware of our existence and encourage them to seek further information, whether or not they decide to attend our meetings.
The Co-op's donation is part of their 'Community Dividend Fund 660' where members of the Society can opt at the cash point to have their purchases recorded under the "charity 660" option. When you shop at any of the Co-op stores you also are encouraged to take up that option so as to help other good causes.
