Chelmsford Art Society was formed over 40 years ago and currently has a membership of approximately 100 established and novice artists.  Members meet every fortnight during the winter months for demonstrations and illustrated talks given by visiting professional artists.  Meetings are sociable events where members observe different techniques and practices using various media.  There is an annual critique and opportunity to exhibit at local exhibitions. New members with a general interest in art and of all standards and abilities are always welcome.
