Welcome to my website. On Monday 19 May 2008 I was appointed Deputy Mayor for the coming year and along with that I have changed some of my other responsibilities. The council now operates an 8 member cabinet structure, with Policy Development Groups (PDG) supporting. In this structure I serve on the following committees:- Licensing (chairman) and Standards. I am also a member of the Policy & Performance PDG.

I have served as a governor at The Deanes School since 1995 till 2008 and from 1999 of South East Essex 6th Form Community College (SEEVICC). I am married to Marilyn and we have a daughter, who married in August 2008 and a son, who is based in Southampton.
