We have just added a new Good Practice Guide to our help section (http://www.essexinfo.net/help/good-practice-guide/). This provides links to sites which we feel have made good use of certain features of essexinfo.net. We hope it will give people who are starting out good ideas and help people who already have a site develop theirs further.

This is a guide we hope to keep updated regularly and we like to do this with your help. If you come across a page which you feel is put together well or if you think some of the pages on your site make good use of essexinfo.net features lets us know (support@essexinfo.net) and we'll try to include them in the guide.

There are now over 300 sites on essexinfo.net! well done everyone for helping our community grow.

In other statistical news last month we achieved our largest number of individual visits yet with over 3450. Some even from far flung places such as Hungary and Australia!

If you're a webmaster of an essexinfo.net site you can see how many visitors you had this year by logging on to your site and clicking on 'Manage your website' and then 'Site Statistics'. This will give a detailed statistical breakdown of how many unique visitors, visits and hits you've had this year on a month to month basis. They also include detailed information for the current month such as which country your visitors have come from, which are your most popluar pages, how many people have bookmarked you, which websites have links to yours and much more.
