An open day was held on Saturday 27th September 2014 at the Copford Primary School.

The all-day event was one of the first stages in the progress of the Copford with Easthorpe Neighbourhood Plan. Those attending were encouraged to write on maps, to put post-it notes under headings on various display boards and to voice/note any comments/ideas.

The aim was to: -

  • ensure that the local community is fully engaged and involved in the plan from the outset
  • to allow local people to have their say about what is important to them in their village and highlight their aspirations for Copford and Easthorpe for the future
  • to enable the Council to establish clear topic headings to form the focus of the ongoing plan

264 notes were received on the day and several other responses via post and email.
