MINUTES OF MEETINGS

Original signed copies of the Minutes of Parish Council meetings are held with The Clerk to the Council or at Essex Records Office.

Minutes will be published here once they have been signed and approved by Full Council at their next meeting.i.e March minutes will appear shortly after April meeting and so on.

 You can obtain historic Minutes on this website but older copies than those shown here providing they are less than 6 years old can be obtained from The Clerk to the Council.

Minutes more than 6 years old  will usually be stored at Essex Records Office and can be viewed by prior appointment with them. Contact details and opening times can be found here:

Please note that the minutes ARE NOT verbatim reports of the meeting but a record of valid and legally made council decisions ONLY, whether or not these include a decision to spend money. The minutes are as brief as possible as is consistent with clarity as to the subject matter and decisions made. Likewise any  record of public participation allowed during the meeting will not usually record names of members of the public speaking and will be brief highlighting subjects raised and will not be verbatim reports of matters raised or discussed.
