The next Meeting of Cressing Parish Council will be on Wednesday 10 July 2013 at St Barnabas at 7:30 PM.
The meeting will include up to 15 minutes set aside for members of the Public to address Council on any matters notified to the Clerk by 7.00 pm on the day of the meeting.
Agenda
1) Chairman’s Welcome and Comments.
2) Apologies for Absence.
3) Declarations of Interest.
To declare any ‘personal’ or ‘personal and prejudicial’ interests relating to items on the Agenda having regard to the 2007 Code of Conduct for Councillors and having taken appropriate advice (where necessary) before the meeting.

4) Public Forum – matters advised to the Clerk in correct fashion may be presented to Council for information. – a report will be received, if appropriate.
Council to be addressed by Essex County Councillor Mark Ellis.
5) Essex County Councillor – a report will be received from Cllr Lady Newton, if appropriate.

The formal Council meeting will recommence.
7) To approve the Draft Minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on the 12th June 2013.

A verbal report will be presented by the Clerk.

Mail received, and not relating to Agenda items, will be on display prior to the meeting.
10) Planning - please note that any relevant plans will be available to view at St. Barnabas from 7.15 p.m., on the evening of the Parish Council meeting.

Braintree District Council comments on Application 13/00159/ECC, being a consultation on Essex County Council application ESS/06/13/BTE/SO - Use of the site as an end of life vehicle de-pollution and treatment facility with the associated storage of material and plant at Cordons Farm Long Green Cressing Essex CM77 8DL No Objections Raised.
Application 13/00417/FUL for the erection of two storey side extension and part extension to existing flat roof at The Laurels, Tye Green, Cressing. GRANTED
Application 13/00463/FUL for the change of use of area to D1 - Carrying out construction industry training activities at Land at the rear of Appletree Farm, Witham Road, Cressing. REFUSED

12) To consider the continuance of the planning Sub-Committee and confirm that it will meet nine days prior to each Council meeting.
13) To appoint Cllr. Gulleford as Cressing Parish Council Press Officer.
14) To trial, for three months, the holding of a monthly “Council Surgery” and to confirm a regular time for this activity.
15) To authorise the Responsible Financial Officer, and the Chairman of Council, to complete the statements of certification in Section One of the Annual Return for the year ended 31st March 2013.
16) To authorise the Clerk, and the Chairman of Council, to complete the Annual Governance Statement in Section Two of the Annual Return for the year ended 31st March 2013.
17) To consider how best to lobby the DNR Committee at Essex County Council with regard to planning proposals at Cordons Farm.
