The Rettendon Horticultural Society was founded over a hundred years ago, to promote interest in all aspect of horticulture. Today it has a regular calendar of events throughout the year. Rivenhall Parish Council serves a mostly rural area which includes over 550 houses, and several farms and businesses. The Council meets every month and welcomes local residents to take part. The SCOOT Club is an oganisation for Senior Citizens living in Essex. It is based in Tilbury and meets on the first Tuesday every month from 7.00 pm until 10.30 pm. We have Speakers, Singers, Brass Bands or other Entertainment for the first part of the evening followed by Social Dancing to music provided by our own Resident DJ.
