What would you like from your Epilepsy Action local branch?

Colchester branch of Epilepsy Action is a small branch, which has been in existence for over 25 years.

Things have changed a bit since then and now we have the internet, we are all able to obtain information on just about every subject imaginable. What the internet can’t give you, however, is personal support at those times when epilepsy might be the biggest and sometimes the most difficult aspect of people’s lives, where they feel very isolated - and this is where the local branches are important.

We are now looking for new members to join us and would be interested in hearing from anyone of any age who feels they might want to know more about us.

We would be interested especially in hearing from young people and also parents, brothers and sisters of younger children about what would interest them and make them feel that it would be worthwhile to join a local branch – whether it is taking part in information and awareness events, fundraising or just social meetings of one kind or another.
