Finances

The Council's finances are regularly monitored by Councillors at Parish Council meetings.  The minutes of the Council meetings can be accessed from the menu on the left.

In this Council the Parish Clerk is the 'Responsible Finance Officer' managing and administering the Council's financial affairs.

The Council starts its preparation of the Budget in November, finalising the budget in January and setting the Precept - the total amount required from parish residents.  The share from each property is included in the Council Tax collection by Epping Forest District Council.  Summary information is normally published in the Newsletter, full details are below:

The Council produces an Annual Report which includes Payments and Receipts, or Income & Expenditure, for the past year and can be viewed under the Annual Report menu option.
