WELCOME to the website of the Essex Branch of the Historical Association. We meet every month at Trinity Link Methodist Church opposite County Hotel, Rainsford Road, with easy parking and disabled entrance (see full programme and How to find us). Our guest speakers cover a wide range of subjects from social and political history, archaeological developments to topical-interest items. Our own members also give short talks on subjects of particular interest to them. Plus we have outings, mostly requested by members. And we aim to enjoy every minute. After our meetings we chat and have tea and biscuits!
Guests are welcome for a nominal fee. No need to book - just turn up and talk to someone with a badge!!
