Activities

EOLP Management Group (EOLPMG) meetings are consistently well attended and a high level of trust has developed between partners resulting in mature debate and agreement on:

• Strategic direction
• Work programme
• Project progress
• Finances

Basildon DC continues to chair the partnership. Partners are contributing significantly to the operation of EOLP by also attending project boards and other subgroups.  The partnership also meets on a monthly basis to consider new Opportunities Through Technology.  Colchester BC chairs the meetings.  During these meetings we are finding common solutions where appropriate, we share experiences and we’re learning lessons.  We share policies.  We undertake “Done Once, Shared By Many” research activities e.g. organising and receiving presentations from existing and potential suppliers thus ensuring product knowledge and increasing partners’ awareness of innovative ICT tools and software on the market.  We also formed the foundation for joint procurement activities in support of the shared services agenda.
