The Parish Council comprises 9 members, six of whom represent Finchingfield and 3 who represent the hamlet of Cornish Hall End, which together have an electoral role of just under 1000.  They hold 10 monthly meetings plus an annual parish meeting.  The main discussion topics are management of the recreation areas, maintenance of both villages, planning applications and developing the initiatives put forward in the Parish Plan.
