The Parish Council has created a petition requesting Essex Highways to implement a 30mph speed limit along the Harwich Road in Hare Green - please add your name so that road safety can be improved along this stretch of road. Sign here.
MEET THE POLICE
Date for your Diary 11am Sat 1st April in the Main Hall.
Meeting for all Villagers and interested parties with Chief Inspector Russell Cole and Police representatives. To discuss crime, your concerns and how Social media can be used to collate and pass on information. Great Bromley Parish Council supports this and are hosting the event and hope that you will be able to attend. Further details can be found here
Refreshments will be available with money raised kindly being donated to Essex Police dogs.
OVERWEIGHT LORRIES IN GREAT BROMLEY
Overweight lorries travelling through Great Bromley and Ardleigh are causing misery for many. Following the above meeting with the police on the 1st April there will be a chance to voice your concerns. Meeting will commence at 12:30pm in the Village Hall

The Parish Council has written to the Police and Crime Commissioner for Essex to voice their concerns at the erosion in rural policing locally. See the letter here.
Speedwatch is now up and running in Great Bromley. A number of individuals have been trained by the police in the use of the equipment and the rules under which it must be used. Speedwatch sessions are regulalry held at authorised locations within the village.
