Council finances

The council's audited accounts are published in its annual reports.  Accounts for previous years can be obtained from the Clerk.

The council raises money to finance its work through the council tax ('precept'), grants and the provision of services to Essex County and Tendring District councils.  The current annual precept is £14,000.
