Library services

Great Bromley's nearest publlic libraries are in Manningtree,  Colchester (Greenstead) and Wivenhoe. However, a mobile library calls at the following locations on alternate Wednesdays at the times noted:

11.15 - 11.30 am            Cross Inn, Burnt Heath

11.40 - 11.55 am            Hamilton Lodge

12.00 - 12.15 pm            Church Meadow

1.20 - 1.35 pm                 Village Hall

1.40 - 1.55 pm                 Chase Road West, Hare Green

The mobile library will visit Great Bromley on the following dates during the first six months of 2010: 

13 and 27 January                       10 and 24 February                 10 and 24 March

7 and 21 April                          5 and 19 May                         2, 16, 30 June
