Each year the society organises two flower shows, one in the Spring and one in the Autumn. Although many exhibits are from the garden, a great many are from the kitchen, and together with other crafts of various kinds, there are opportunities for a wide range of skills that can be exhibited.

All classes are open to anyone to enter; you do not have to be a member of the society, although by being a member there is the advantage of reduced entry fees. These are fun competitions for all to have a go, not just the province of dedicated enthusiasts. If you are not a gardener enter the cookery section or a photograph, or an item of craft work. Please just try something in one of the classes; as this will help to keep the shows going and the society thriving.

To enter exhibits in the shows please consult the current yearbook which lists all the sections and classes which can be entered. Also it lists all the events that take place throughout the year.
