Adding images and documents to your pages
To make your site more interesting and informative you can also include images, documents and links on the pages you have created.
Adding images and documents is a two-step process. You must first upload your image or documents to the ‘Assets Library' to ensure they can be seen by other online users. Once the image or document is uploaded to the library you can add it to pages on your site.
You can use the same method outlined below to upload as many documents, images, audio or visual clips to the site as you require.
NOTE: Images must be saved in either jpeg (.jpg) or gif (.gif) formats
Adding images
-
‘Edit this page'
- Choose 'Content Management' tab
- Choose 'Content'
- Place your cursor in the 'Body text' field where you wish your image to be
- Enter the title of your image and highlight it
- Click ‘Insert/edit image'
- Click the icon at the end of the field 'Link URL' and complete the form in the bottom section 'Or add a new Image'
- Click 'Save and Publish'
- Complete the 'Title' and 'Description' fields in the section above to make it accessible to disabled people
- Click ‘Insert'
