Transport & Infrastructure

The Heritage Society maintains an oversight on transport related matters especially roads as they so often impact on living and working in the villages and on our buildings and countryside. This topic is particularly relevant with all the planning discussions taking place on proposed developments from housing to the Rivenhall Waste Facility in and around the A12 and A120 corridor.

Kelvedon & Feering Heritage Society has been the lead organisation in the creation of this new group called A12VTAG (A12 Villages Traffic Action Group) which brings together local Parish Councils and other interested bodies for a collective view on local road development such as a Tiptree to A12 link road.

More information on the group can be found on their website
