Donations Received
We want to say a BIG "Thank You" to everyone who has supported Kids in Need through donations. Any amount, no matter how large or small can help to make a real difference to someones life.
- Newbury Park Synagogue's Ladies Guild raised and kindly dontated £300 from a raffle held at their 'Ladies Only Quiz' in Dec 2009.
- Berry Place Models have kindly provided us with .ai & .esp files of our logo which will help greatly when we want to use our logo on banners, posters etc
- A donation of £50 has been received from Elaine Clark.
- Following the untimely death of Kevin Hill, his partner, Rowena, prompted by a wish that Kids in Need had undertaken for a close friend, asked that instead of sending flowers, donations should be sent to Kids in Need. We have received donations totalling over £300 and in sending our sympathy and condolences to Kevin's family and friends, we would like to thank all those people whose generosity will help us in continuing the work of helping these particularly deserving children.
- The Parish of St. Martin's Chipping Ongar with St. Peter's Shelley generously donated £1,919.26 raised from a Christmas Coffee Morning plus the sponsorship obtained by Tom Coles who entered and conquered the Florence Marathon.
- Oce (UK) Ltd have kindly printed and donated 2 Kids in Need banners which we have already used at St Martins Christmas Bazaar.
- Montblanc at the Royal Exchange continues to support Kids in Need and donated a Ladies organiser - Boheme.
- Molton Brown at the Royal Exchange kindly donated a box of bath and body products
- The owners of Mill Farm donated an overnight stay and breakfast at their Farm which was incorporated as part of a wish. We have received nothing but positive feedback about the Farm, the accomodation and the owners who really made the stay amazing.
- Michel Roux Jr has kindly donated a signed copy of his book "A life in the Kitchen" as a prize for our Dinner Dance.
- R. Brill, kindly donated his 100 club prize money (from the September 09 draw) back to Kids in Need.
- Atul Kochhar has kindly sent Kids in Need a signed book "Fish Indian Style".
- Jack Rider, our 100 Club winner has kindly donated his prize money back to Kids in Need
- Today's Golfer kindly donated an MD Golf wedge.
- Sheryl Hart very kindly donated £100 as a result of a collection between her family and friends over last Christmas..
- Julie Butterfield from Bishops Stortford raised £105.21 holding a Pampered Chef's party with her friends. Many thanks for your continuing support Julie.
- Our Tatty Teddy mascot was donated by Carte Blanche Greetings Ltd
- R7 CGB Max Rescue RH 22 Reg golf club donated by onlinegolf.co.uk
- £65 was donated by Bill Hall after winning in the Veterans Spring Charity Competition at Bently Golf Club.
- The staff at 'Creations' from Southmapton donated £500
- Tottenham Hotspur donated a signed football.
- Hasbro have donated a box of toys
- Daniel donated a watch.
- £100 donated from Michelle F.
- Tesco's donated £25 to help with our Annual Childrens Reunion Party.
- The 'Monday Club' golfers donated £200.
- Pizza Hut donated a £10 voucher.
- Our 100 Club winner Mr Sassoon, kindly donated his prize money back to Kids in Need.
- £33 was raised from a collection tin put in the hospital department where one of the children we have helped attends.
- £135 was collected by David at his school for the sponsored walk.
- The 'Monday club' golfers at Bentley Golf Club have been regularly putting money aside, for charity, from their sweepstakes and in December 08 gave Kids in Need a cheque for £150.
- £100 cheque was received from Timsons.
- A couple kindly requested for their Silver Anniversary that instead of gifts for them, their friends and family make a donation to Kids in Need. We received a generous donation of £273.
- Members at the Bentley Golf club have donated over £600.
- Capital International raised £147.80 through a dress down day in the office.
- A collecting tin at Oakwood Pharmacy in Loughton raised £22.38.
- Through holding an open garden day and charging entrance fees and also serving drinks throughout the day an amount of £625.60 was raised.
- £379.74 was a donation received from Shenfield High School
- A collection tin held at a local police station raised £24.
Thanks to everyone who helped raise this money, whether that be organising, attending or donating.
