Today was the Kids in Need AGM and the 8 key positions were up for grabs.

I am pleased to say that the following people were voted in (and accepted) these roles.

We wish all these people the best of luck in their new roles and thank all committee members for the great work that they did in 2009.

Lately we have been trying  more and more to use our logo on items such as banners and event tickets and each time we come across the same issue.......We don't have the correct high resolution artwork. Well that is now a thing of the past thanks to Berry Place Models who have stepped in and provided us with the appropriate file we require.......Thanks guys.

We have been delighted to receive a generous donation of £1,919.26 from the Parish of St. Martin's Chipping Ongar with St. Peter's Shelley. As part of their charitable giving the parish decided to raise funds for Kids in Need and the resultant significant amount of money was the proceeds from an excellent Christmas Coffee Morning plush the sponsorship obtained by Tom Coles in entering and conquering the Florence Marathon.

Our sincere and grateful thanks go to the fund raising committee, to Tom for his mighty efforts and to all the parishioners who were kind enough to contribute. Your generosity and support is very much appreciated.
