Food and Drink
There are two pubs in Layer. Both serve food as well as drink, at lunch time and in the evening.
The Donkey and Buskins
Renowned for its fresh fish and large portions, the Donkey and Buskins has a small, intimate bar and three restaurant areas, and it also has a garden with a children's playground.
The Layer Fox
This pub has recently changed hands and a few years ago underwent an extensive refurbishment of the entire site. Its facilities include a pool table and a separate restaurant area, and a raised patio area for sitting outside.
