Parish Council

Parish Councils are the community's first tier of government and play a vital role in representing local residents.

Little Burstead Parish Council was formed in 1997 and has five elected / co-opted members. Electorate at 1 June 2011 of 327.

The Parish Council regularly meets bi-monthly on the second Wednesday of each month at Little Burstead Village Hall.

The meetings are advertised on the notice board outside of the Hall, on the new website and in The Bugle, a publication which is distributed regularly to households within the Village.

Members of the public are always most welcome to attend the meetings during which they have the opportunity to address the Parish Council, should they wish to pass comment on current matters or have any particular concerns.
