Welcome to the Marks Tey Parish Council website


Marks Tey Parish Council includes the villages of Marks Tey and Little Tey.

Both are situated approximately six miles west of Colchester.



The Council provides recreation facilities, including a children's playground, skateboard park, basketball court, football pitches and the Parish Hall complex. For a list of clubs and associations that regularly use our hall, please click here

The Parish Hall has three halls available for hire and information about them (and hiring enquiries) can be found on the Parish Hall Hire page of this website.

Where: 9.50am  outside the Parish Hall

All equipment will be provided, Food and Hot drinks are available at 12 plus the chance to meet others and make a difference in your community

A120 / A12 ROADWORKS 2017 

The A120 through Marks Tey and the A12 south slip road at Marks Tey are being resurfaced starting on Monday 9th January 2017 until May 2017. The roadway, footpaths, streetlights, signs, and fences will be worked upon between 20.00 and 06.00. Please see the attached for details of roadworks.
