Mid-Essex Branch Newsletters
| | The Branch produces a regular Newsletter for its members. This keeps them in touch with events that the Branch is organising for them, reports on visits that have taken place, and fundraising activiries by people throughout the community. The style is light, hopefully interesting and informative. Members are encouraged to contribute articles for inclusion and to tackle the topical quiz. Statutory Bodies, Fundraisers, and other Friends of the Branch are also included in the mailing. The Essex Library Service also distribute copies to each of their branches throughout the county. A volunteer compiles and edits, then prints 600+ copies on the Branch photocopier. Other volunteers then staple and place them into envelopes with other mailings that are planned to coincide with the production of each newsletter. Our aim is to produce a quality prooduct at the most economic cost possible. For this reason we print in black and white and match the number of pages (usually around 24 A4) to come within the Post Office weight band. Investing time in producing our own website makes it possible to show members the photographs in colour. Links to Acrobat pdf documents have been added so that visitors can see each newsletter as it exists prior to printing. Click the links below on the Newsletter that you would like to view. Each edition is in 4 parts to make downloading faster. |
