Mount Bures Village Hall Pilates and well-being class.
The plan is to run an initial six week Pilates and well-being class at Mount Bures. Each class will last about an hour and will conclude with a period of relaxation/mindfulness. The Pilates is a modified form used by Physiotherapists which is safe for the average less fit and more mature person to perform without injury. However the class is suitable for all beginners.
If any of those wishing to attend have a history of any spinal pain or other limiting joint or neurological conditions, I would encourage them to discuss this with me prior to attending. I offer one to one sessions to assess such conditions and ensure suitability for the class.
Individuals would need a suitable yoga/Pilates exercise mat and head block. I am able to order these or point people in the right direction if required. A 16/18 inch cushion and hand towel are also required for the class.
I suggest a class size of twelve in the village hall which allows me to supervise and correct people as necessary. With this size class the fee would be £42 for the six weeks payable with registration. There will be an additional cost of £16- £18 for each participant to use their own exercise band and balance cushion.
I anticipate starting Tuesday 3rd November 2015. If those who are interested could email me with their availability for each proposed time and any queries at firstname.lastname@example.org I will then send a registration form to them be completed before attendance.
