Mundon Parish Council has an allocation of 5 councillors but only 3 nominations were lodged at the elections in 2011. As such there was no Parish Council election. A further councillor has since been co-opted in January 2012 but 1 vacancy still remains to be filled.
If there is anyone in the Parish who would like to become a Councillor - or perhaps consider the role - then please contact our Clerk or the current councillors for more information. Alternatively by all means attend a Parish Council meeting to see what happens and have an informal discussion there.
Co-option of Parish Councillors is quite a simple process and you will be given a helping hand on the duties from both our Clerk and the current serving councillors.
