Village Agents - Essex

A face to face signposting service for people living in rural communities. The Village Agent pilot project is managed and delivered by the Rural Community Council of Essex as a face to face signposting service for people living in rural communities. It aims to provide high quality information and advice to local residents and put people in touch with organisations that provide services, and promote health and independence. Examples are: fire and home safety checks, free smoke alarms, advice on personal safety and secuity, volunteering, grants for insulation and local information, but the list is endless! Home visits can be arranged. Contact your local Village Agent ( email : christine.mcdonald@vaessex.org.uk ) to arrange a chat or visit for free, confidential, independent information and advice.
