Parish Council's are consulted on local planning applications but only to the extent of obtaining comments.
Parish Council's cannot approve or refuse planning permission, that is under the jurisdiction of the local District Council or sometimes Essex County Council, depending on the nature of the application.
Part of Noak Bridge comes under extra controls being a conservation area.
