Noticeboards

Ongar Town Council has seven noticeboards in and around Ongar.

They display Council information for public notices including Councillor contact details, committee membership, timetables of meetings, agenda papers and other itmes of interest.

It may also be possible to display posters advertising local community events, however Council notices take precedence. 

The noticboards are situated next to or near:

• Pedestrian crossing in Fyfield Road at the junction with Moreton Road
• Love Lane at its junction with the High Street
• Pleasance Car Park near the Library
• Side of the public conveniences next to the Police Station in the High Street
• High Street outside the retail shop 'Peter the Pleater'
• Southern end of High Street by the bus stop next to the 'Lorry Park' 
• Greensted Road, Greensted near the junction with Pensons Lane and Toot Hill Road
