THE STAFF TEAM

The Council employs six members of staff, three of whom work at the Council Office in Bansons Way.  

They are:

Mr Mark Squire, Town Clerk

Mrs Judith Cook, Deputy Town Clerk

Mrs Marie Hatch, Assistant to the Clerk

Mr Richard Argent, Cemetery Gardener

Mr Sean Calver, Open Spaces Operative

 Mr David Sweeting, Caretaker

The Council is now providing 7 day a week litter clearing at all four play areas as well as the Cripsey Brook Nature Reserve for the residents of Ongar; Sean Calver covering the majority of the week and the remaining days covered by David Sweeting. 

The Council is also grateful to temporary and voluntary staff members who help us with particular projects from time to time.
