ONGAR TOWN PLAN

The Ongar Town Plan Team have produced a plan for Ongar that is based on the responses received after a questionnaire was delivered to 2500 households in the area. It also includes the results of a transport survey carried out by the (then) 10K young peoples group who later became ONgar Action. The Town Plan was produced with assistance from the Town Council, Countryside Agency, Awards For All and the Rural Community Council of Essex.

The plan  has been recognised as very useful by a number of community groups including the Local Strategic Partnership.

We recognise that a document like this can quickly go out of date and hope that members of the public will be as keen to participate in the future surveys and questionnaires planned by Ongar Town Council.
