ONGAR CEMETERY

Ongar Cemetery was designated a 'Lawn Cemetery' in 1962. The Council employs its own gardener to maintain the cemetery. Over recent years the Council has planted bulbs and rose trees in the cemetery. Most of the roses trees have taken and some are being replanted.

The bulbs have settled in well as can be seen in the picture below, taken by former Town Councillor Jill Coward.
