TOWN TWINNING WITH CERIZAY

Ongar has a well established Town Twinning Association and close links with Cerizay, a municipality of about 5000 people in the French departement Deux-Sevres, Poitou-Charentes.

The plaque marking the commencement of this association used to be at ground level. but was damaged when a heavy mower ran into it. The Town Council arranged for it to be repaired and displayed at it's present location in the Cerizay Garden.
