Open to men and women,Probus Club of Tendring Hundred is for retired people and those approaching retirement.

The aim of the club is to stimulate thought,interest and participation in activities and to give members the opportunity to make new friends.

We meet on the second Thursday of each month at 10.30 am at a local venue. A short, formal meeting is followed by a mix-and-mingle coffee break, then a talk is given by an invited speaker.

This may be humorous, entertaining and/or educational.

Afterwards there is an optional, informal lunch.

The speakers can be members or guests and their talks cover a wide variety of subjects.

During the year various Day visits to places of interest and social events, including group holidays, are organised,to which partners are invited.

Anyone interested in joining us,may attend twice, free of charge ( except for lunch ) before deciding whether they wish to become a full member.

Current annual membership fee is only £40.

Holiday in the Pennines                   Visit to Audley End House.
Visit to Ickworth house                     Holiday at Thoresby Hall
             Cruise on River Deben and lunch at Waldringfield
