Budget 2006-7

Each November the Parish Council prepares a budget for the following financial year. The financial position is established to date, and the expected receipts and payments for the rest of the year are predicted in order to estimate what the financial position will be at year end. Expenditure for the next year is then calculated in order to determine what the income needs to be. From these calculations the Parish Council sets its Precept, which is the amount the District Council is instructed to collect from the council tax payers resident in the Parish.
