Ridgewell Coronation Village Hall was erected by public subscription to mark HM Queen Elizabeth II's Coronation in 1953. It was extended and upgraded to mark the Millennium and a project to further extend and refurbish the hall is in progress. The hall serves as the focal point for many clubs and activities.
The hall is available to hire and is ideal for private events, children parties and regular bookings. It has a well-equipped kitchen, toilets (ladies, gentlemen, disabled, junior), baby changing facilities, tables & chairs and a changing room. Outside there is a playing field of over an acre with a range of new play equipment, hardstanding with basketball net and small football goals. Four new pieces of equipment (a zip wire, giant climbing frame, pirate ship and swings) were installed in October 2016.
The hall has its own car park with space for 15-20 cars.
