Sunday 23 March 2008 'Rock for Havens Sake Music Festival'

Following our huge success in October 2006 with the very first  Rock for Havens Sake 

Music Festival we can confirm the new date.This year we have a change of venue. 

Virgin Active are giving us the use of The Mill Hall, Rayleigh for which we are very grateful. 

The Mill is a well known venue for all kinds of entertainment and it has great acoustics 

just right for an event of this type.

Full sound and lighting plus engineer will be provided and PMT, Southend are kindly loaning 

us the backline equipment again. It's set to be a fabulous event and once the bands have 

been confirmed they will be posted on this site together with information

about tickets & times etc. Don't forget you can be in for a chance of winning a brand new 

guitar (courtesy of PMT Southend) just by purchasing a raffle ticket (or several) on the day. 

Even if you aren't lucky enough to win the guitar there will be many other prizes. 

If you aren't lucky enough to win a prize at all, you can always console yourself with a tasty burger from 

our caterers, LK Catering, who will be outside the venue. 

If you are new to this event and would like to be considered for future music festivals  

for Havens, please send a demo. photograph and biog of your band to:

Regrettably we are unable to return these items unless you include a stamped, addressed envelope.

Any unclaimed CDs will be given as a contribution towards our raffle on the day.

If we get a good response we may look at holding another music event later in 2008 so please don't

be disappointed if you are not successful first time around.  We look forward to hearing from you.
