Havens Celebrates 25 Years
As you can see from the sparkling logo Havens Hospices are celebrating 25 years this year.
Havens have two hospices Little Havens Childrens Hospice in Thundersley and Fair Havens in Westcliff.
Both Hospices, although receiving a small amount from central government, rely heavily on the generosity of the local community and businesses to help maintain their enormous and demanding level of care both at the Hospices and out in the wider community itself.
Hopefully we can continue to receive this support but never more so than now at a time when Fair Havens is dire need of an injection of cash to the tune of £250,000 by the end of March and a further £25,000 by the end of December this year. Without this the Hospice will have to look at cutting essential services to those who depend upon them.
