Celia Kerslake our President set the stall up in the morning with the help of Frances Fremont and others came to help and support both before and during the time the fete was open from 1pm to 4pm.
We were blessed with the sun coming out after a damp start to the day, and by the time fete opened there was a blue sky and sunshine.
There were many events taking place during the afternoon with a sack race, singing from the Sandon Community Choir and even the dogs had their moment when they were chosen by the vicar Terry Brown - the best dog when walking and taking instructions. There were 4 who were selected as 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
The WI stall made a total of £105 at the close of the afternoon. From the money made there will be a donation to the Church and money to the Sandon Hall to help buy hand dryers.
