OUTDOOR MEETINGS 2011 – Sundays/Saturdays 10.30 am unless otherwise stated Wear suitable clothing and footwear. Bring your own snack if required.Sorry we do not allow dogs to accompany our walks The following are some of the outdoor meetings for members. Any non-member wishing to take part should contact the Membership Secretary on v.tring@virgin.net |

GUNNERS PARK & SHOEBURY PARK for birds and a look at park changes/developments. Meet in Gunners car park. Nearby buses: 7, 8 and 9 |

SOUTHEND PIER for a look at Plankton with Roger Payne. (date to be announced) |
| Sun 15th May | TWO TREE ISLAND for bird song and migrants - a short walk from Leigh station. |
| Sat 15th June | LITTLE SHEATLEYS RESERVE - Meet by Grange social Club. Bus 25 to Little Wheatleys Road. |
| Sat 25th June | BELTON HILLS for Butterflies and Flowers. Meet at top of steps from leigh Station in the Marine Parade. |
| Sun 26th June | BELTON HILLS second visit |
| Sun 31st July | SUMMER SOCIAL Meet 3.30 pm at The Peterboat car park near the cafe. Make your own visits beforehand to Leigh Fisheries Festival with interesting stall and a marine flavour! |

ST MARY'S CHURCH, Shoeburyness. Walk to Maplin Way pond known for a rare dragonfly. Meet at the entrance to Asda. Close to Nos 1 and 4 bus stops. |
| Sun 18th Sept | LIFSTAN WAY LAKE to see what local people have developed nearby as a nature reserve and perhaps some cygnets. Short walk from No 7 bus stop. Meet in car park to southchurch Park East. |
| Oct | October Evenings ovserving Badgers in a local Reserve by kind invitation. The hide accommodates only 4 people. visits to be arranged in due course. |
