Wethersfield History Group
Wethersfield Beneath Our Feet
The talk is called “Wethersfield beneath our feet” and the speaker is Howard Davis, whose late father Colin was a regular attendee at our meetings for many years. Howard is an enthusiastic metal detector and will give an illustrated talk about the artefacts that he has found when metal detecting all over the village, including Blackmore End and Shalford. Some of the items he has found are from WW2 but others go way back to Medieval times or Roman times. There will be a display of his findings at the meeting.
This promises to be a very interesting talk and I look forward to seeing next Thursday
