FOSTAC Does it Again

Friday saw a packed Village Hall with every seat taken for the Quiz Night including a Fish & Chip supper, 10 teams of eight members fighting for the major prize.

With Frank Easton as the ever able quiz master and David Cobb supplying the questions it was obvious that everyone was in for an enjoyable but strenuous evening, half time saw ‘The Donkeys’ with a commanding lead followed by ‘March Hares’ and ‘The Plonkers’ teams. The evening ending with ‘The Donkeys’ outstripping everybody followed by ‘The Plonkers’ and close third ‘Rotten Enders’, perhaps The Laners’ should have taken on extra carrots during the break instead of fish as they went home with the wooden spoon.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening for all, much FOSTAC events success is down to the high calibre of the organising committee and the quality of each event, planning is well underway for more events and diary leaflet has just been published for the forthcoming 12 months. Anything involving the village hall needs you to obtain tickets early due to limitation of numbers, a reminder that St Andrew’s Night supper is 27th November
