The club was formed in 1975 and has grown to what it is today. It is based in the upper reaches of the river Crouch adjacent to the town centre of South Woodham Ferrers. We are a friendly, self-help club welcoming all types of boating activities from sailing dinghies to yachts and motor cruisers. You don’t have to own a boat to join us, as we also offer social membership. We have friendly low key cruiser and dinghy races, picnics, cruises in company, winter lectures, talks and a variety of social events in the clubhouse.
