Welcome to St. Peter's Church, Nevendon, a 13th Century Oasis of Prayer and Tranquillity.
St. Peter's is one of two, Church of England, Churches within the Parish of Nevendon and Pitsea. We are a friendly, active and growing church community and would be pleased to welcome you. Don't be shy - just come along and feel at home amongst friends.
St. Peter's has a lively congregation; age does not seem to hinder many, a work party maintains the grounds twice a week and others are busy planning social activities such as Garden Crawls, BBQ's, sponsored walks and rides. We also have a few of our ladies doing flower arranging, providing the church with splendid displays making such a colourful sight. We encourage the young to visit the churchyard where recently, a Sensory Garden has been created to cater for those in search of "an oasis of peace."
